[Later in the evening, whether answering a knock on her door (to find no one there) or returning home from wherever she may be, Pearl is going to find a garment box wrapped in festive paper with a bow on it and an envelope taped to the top. The envelope reads "To Pearl. Do not open until Christmas!" If she opens it now or later, this is what she'll find:

In the envelope is a card! It's a fairly generic happy holidays card, though the outside and inside have stickers added. On the inside of the card are some cute little doodles of cats or snowmen or reindeer and a note:

Merry Christmas Pearl! I hope you're having a really, really, REALLY GOOD ONE!!!! I know it's probably really weird being away from home (we had to decorate a Christmas tree all on our own! Do you know hard that is when we're both barely taller than four feet??) but you should definitely have the best one you can! And hopefully if you're not, then this will help make it a little better! You're super nice and very fun to talk to, so you deserve to have a good holiday! When you have some free time, we should meet up and have lunch or something!

In the thin garment box is...a stocking? Yes! It's a stocking! It's red with gold trimming and glitter covering it, as well as Pearl's name carefully penned in with what looks like glitter fabric paint. Inside this stocking is what you would expect in any stocking. From the toe to the top, it's filled with candy and a variety of smaller items, such as: A braided purple ribbon bracelet with white beads and a braided white yarn bracelet with purple beads as decorations, a small wood carving of a cat, painted orange with little black stripes on its back and a pack of scratch and sniff fruit stickers!

Lining the top are five candy canes, neatly hooked over the edge so they are just peeking out!]

[ On Christmas Eve, Pearl will have a small package delivered to her doorstep! It's just small jewelry box containing a cute bracelet!

With the box is an envelope containing a Christmas card. On the flap is Widget's face. It should be obvious who it's from!

You're a great girl, and I hope you continue doing what you're doing! You've been a big help to Mr. Wright, and I'm so glad to have met you. I hope we can spend more time together. I'll definitely get more penguins to like me here, so watch out! ;)

I'm not sure if you signed up for the dating service... Trucy said she did, and so did Mr. Wright. But you should definitely wear this on your dates! I think they're... CHARMING.

[On Christmas Day, the Feys will be invited over to the Wright apartment to be part of the gift-opening. Pearls has her own stocking (filled with candy and socks) and a number of presents addressed to her under the tree. These include:

-a Kids' Masterpiece Theatre DVD box set. Also a small collection of Christmas movies like Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
-a book of very chaste/kid-friendly love stories
-a tiara
-a pocket calender featuring cute animals and a fortune for each day
-a Christmas sweater (the one on the left) plus a pink scarf plus mittens
-a meditation cushion, socks plus some incense sticks (and just to be safe, a guide on how to safely use them).
-a number of Christmas-themed plushies
-some bracelets and gift credits to spend at her leisure.

Is that it? No, that's not it. After all of the presents have been opened, Phoenix will make a show of saying he hears something from the closet. That's when he goes to pull out one last present for each Trucy and Pearl. The contents don't need to breathe, but Phoenix poked air holes in the boxes anyway for superficial effect (and because he feels like Pearls would be genuinely concerned). Within Pearls's last present is a tiny and very precious penguin Cybuddy.]

A cute Christmas-themed bag will be delivered to the Feys' place, and inside the bag for Pearl contains a painting set, a painting pad and a portrait painting of Pearl by Larry himself! There's also an invitation to get a baked potato sometime. You know, just like the old days at the Loser's Shack. That may have been a long time ago for Pearl, but it's fresh in Larry's mind!

[Pearl will get a scrapbooking kit, complete with lots of bits and bobs and clips and stickers to decorate with (many are really cutesy but Edgeworth never really checked the designs when he picked this up). Considering how she holds her loved ones near and dear to her, perhaps this would help her immortalize some of those moments spent with them. Included is also a gift certificate to, coincidentally, the same boutique Trucy's gift certificate came from.

The card does not look like it has been turned into something for a scrapbook, and is plain with someone's elegant handwriting.

Pearl was at home when the power went dark. Like any sensible person, she dropped what she was doing and hid under a table. She was not about to be murdered in her own apartment! If she was murdered, the trial would be such a mess-- Mystic Maya would somehow get accused, for certain.

When she hears Maya's voice, she's relieved. But then wary. What if it's not really her but a murderous robot pretending to be her?? ]
